Just Wishes Poem by Kenneth Romano

Just Wishes

I wish I could fly
Like birds do in the sky
Soaring deep and high
As I watched them nearby.

I wish I could climb
The stairways far behind
To ask a bit of happiness
To cross a lot of sadness.

I wish I had brains
Used to think and to know
Of what is good for today
And what is better for tomorrow.

I wish I had friends
To stick with me 'till end
Not one not two
But many as I can do.

Cool poem, it depicts the person's quest for inner satisfaction, whatever it is must be subjective to each person. Filling owns empty space depends on how one defines her or his needs that make her life complete. Thanks for sharing, a 10.
