darkness penetrates the daylight
and i know once again i'm alone
just do it, i whisper
like it's another person

like i can't change things if i wanted to
to be content with my life again
but all i want suddenly
is crimson

the warmth i used to feel
i was so alone in the freezing warmth
the emptiness
of regret

it doesn't matter anymore
who i used to be
the things i used to do

i want to be free
