Khuyug And A Dragon Poem by tenzini Tibet

Khuyug And A Dragon

A Khuyug from the eastern Tibet,
you sing a song, song of red dragon
And you sang, sang alone
in the dusk misty sky
And you sang, sang alone
In the ears of deaf brains

A Khuyug from the eastern Tibet,
you sing a song, song of statelessness
and you sang to your heart content
In the woods of Dharamsala
under the shades of soothing freedom
amidst the silence of the lost state

A Khuyug from the eastern Tibet
sweet is your voice, meandering melodies
boon to the penurious intellects
yet your voice failed, yet again
at the first growl of the red Dragon
at the screeing of the enslaved eagle

A Khuyug from the eastern Tibet
tall is the tale you sing but no less true
taller is the roar of Dragon but no less shallow
