Khwab martay nhi! ~(inspired) ~

Yeh koi bnd aankhon ka qissa nhi
Neend jesi haweli ka hissa nhi
Khwab jin ki nigaahon me aatay nhi
Zeest k raaz se woh to waaqif nhi
Khwab eemaan e kaamil ki bunyaad hen
Khwab tegh e fana se bhi azaad hen
Khwab hen to nigaahen bhi abaad hen
Imtehan e Khalil e Khuda Khwab hen
Ye hi aghaaz e qissa e zibh e azeem
Aur waseela e pur nur e Rabb e Kareem
Khwab Yousuf k hathon me roshan kitaab
Khwab ilhaam ki kefiyat ka shabaab
Khwab hi rang hen
Khwab hi roop hen
Khwab baraan bhi
Khwab hi dhoop hen
Khwab ghaiz o ghazab se bhi dartay nhi
Khwab zinda haqeeqat hen martay nhi!

Wah attractive title meaning, 'dreams never die', but the line of zibhe azeem is intense and has a soulsearching soulful effect relating to the dark month we are in of that azeem sacrifice. Kudos great poetess. (Report) Reply

I heard the bells on Christmas day
Their old familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet the words repeat
Of peace on earth, good will to men.
