Kidnap

Uprightness flounders in darkness
Deception makes home deep in the city

A slumbering sun
And an inscrutable buzz in sleep's lip itself

Push away your coverlet
And let dreams be inscribed
Upon sunbeams
Make haste, my sentinels

Day is snatched
With the sun unawares
While civilization evolves under an ignorant city.
