Kill The Soul Softly Poem by Dylan Brown

Kill The Soul Softly

Rating: 0.5

Torn apart and left for dead
lieing in a darkened corner
my heart is filled with pain and dread,
What am i to you?
just a lost foreinger...

I put my love and trust into you
but in the end i fell flat on my face
emotions in me growing few,
the end to my life is now a race.

But a shining glimmer of hope
protrudes from behind this darkened glass
I must be on some kind of dope
its here for a moment only to pass

my love is lost,
my emotions fade
it will cost me my life,
and one blade

the blood drips
down my arm
I start to wake
Because of my alarm

Another life
another day
another part, dead in me.
