Killing LoVe

I can’t wait to see you die
You! Yes you who made my love die
While you walked in the shadows
With my lover and caused me woes
I can’t wait to see your end
You! Yes you who brought me this end
And put pain and dread upon my brow
To kill me, my love, and my vow

If there be any more a chance
For you in this life to live;
All I know and care is that once
You ruined my life while alive.
So, on your tomb I’ll boldly write: –
“HE DIED: FOR HE DID NO RIGHT! ”

poet George Gordon Byron

So we'll go no more a-roving
So late into the night,
Though the heart still be as loving,
And the moon still be as bright.

For the sword outwears its sheath,
