King And Queen Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

King And Queen

King and queen

I got lost in his song
-the "Maybe one more night
-we'll be king and queen…"

In bed I
-tossed and turned
-thought of me, my parents
- (mine ended, theirs never,)
-rang the bells with the sighs…

I missed me
-and parents;
-singer talked.

My Ex could still be
-the dear queen of...
-I loved her, she loved me
-love should have had remained
- (I have kept her letters.)

Blew winds
-and turned to
-storm and tsunami
-which at end became the
-sleepless nights and days
-insomniac…

No more we spoke, talked
-relations became a holus-bolus
-singing got lost in the burps and farts
- (all at once…)

How I love to talk love
-badly miss talk of love
-I enjoy body-tongue
-wish could bow
-and smile in a calm:
- "Be Queen of my heart;
-forever, days and nights
-to the end of our life.
-Let love live till I die."
