Kingdom Coming Poem by Florence Weaver

Kingdom Coming

Rating: 4.0

There's a glorious kingdom coming,
glorious kingdom coming,
glorious kingdom coming,
when Jesus returns to earth.
Heaven and earth will pass away and
melt with fervent heat.
But the new creation will usher in the
glorious dawn of peace.

The wolf and the lamb shall feed together;
The lion shall eat straw like the ox.
They shall not hurt nor destroy
in all my Holy mountain.

Men will beat their swords into plow shares,
their spears into pruning hooks.
Nation shall not lift up sword against nation,
Nor study war anymore.

Rejoice and be glad, O, Jerusalem,
the great day is coming soon.
For Jesus Christ will come to Zion and
establish His Kingdom of Peace.
