Kiss... Poem by Rohan Sen

Kiss...

Its a morning divinity made,
whem am beside you,
I look for signs of your being awake,
so I can take,
my morning kiss.

You slither and slide on the sheet,
stretch and wiggle your feet,
and as you open your eyes,
its for a moment but true,
no one can kiss like you.

The sultry sun brings days to a crawl,
and as the heat saps our virility,
sprawled across the cold floor,
forgoing civility,
I steal a kiss from your lips,
an excuse for wetting mine.

The day turns into dark,
and the streets are filled
with mirth and words of skilled
revellers in the night.
Yet we decide to sit beside
each other and touch long glass,
red wine, a touch of class,
and in between sips,
we gently touch our lips.

The World does not have a clue,
that no one can kiss like you...
