Knit In Infinity Poem by Lisa Bertsch

Knit In Infinity

You cannot take my God from me
Not with your pain
Not with your fear
We are knit in infinity
God and I
In the fragrant mineral earth
In the luminosity of ever-bright stars
In rivulets of tears trembling
In pain's searing freedom
In death and in birth
As you stand with quaking knees
I root my feet in effervescent love
Growing fertile
Boundlessly throbbing in unceasing unity
