Knowing Your Heart

Knowing your heart, your soul's intent
Knowing why Jesus died
Do you think that makes God content?
Or Heaven satisfied?

Love; is the maker of winners
In love! Christ blood was shed
Converting saints from sinners
Help raise the walking dead

If you love me, you'll obey me Jn.14: 15
You'll do all I command
That more like you, can be set free
Plant seed in every land

Though great, most avid researchers
Knowing, first hand God's Word
Inactive, sitting in churches
Outside, remained unheard

Out on the streets and alleyways
On mountain top and hill
God's living word can set ablaze
Each failing church to fill

It's good to pray, great hymns to sing
Name saint, sister and brother
In comfort, sitting is one thing
Obedience, another

Forgive all others have done you
Forget as best you can
Living, walking, with life in view
For you, and fellow man

See those failing, others falling
Where you yourself once lay
Stretch forth your hand, answer God calling
Along Salvation Way......
