L O V E Poem by Alexander Foald

L O V E

Something beneath the milky way of stars
Hid by the clouds, spun along with the tides
Named the same as those people in loving memory
Awaits by the light, turning over the night sky

Falling like waterfall, beautifully and sacredly
All along the mountains are watching in silence
Repeatedly defined by ignorance and innocence
Bliss is brought upon those who joyfully accept it

Something, just like nothing one could ever comprehend
Goes without saying, but always stays in the shape of beauty
The sight becomes different and nobody ever recognizes
That they eventually see each other, one’s eye to the others’

It is not the future like we imagine, nor the past we’re forgetting
It is not inside of a dream, nor would it become a part of reality
It is far and wide, everywhere you are and everywhere you go
Something that reminds us of our godly made mutual life,
Of our glory and victory in the war with broken heart,
Of our muted unconscious god, and above all,
Of the times in our lives, when we still cared for each other
