L.P.O.M.M.S Poem by Stevens Cadet

L.P.O.M.M.S

Rating: 4.5

Love to say, 'I love to Love' but maybe I'm lying
Illuminate my wall paint, my mind I'm confined in
Energy flowing, so I'm flittering the vibrant
Springs
Plaster covers my skin
Let the Art we paint with our Heart find everlasting life
Among the Artist who bring them out
Generations later, we figure what they meant now
Unifying the moments when they felt proud
Empathetic, for I know how that road seems cold
Drowned in all our worries we'd die alone
Or never fully be understood
No worries, we have so many offers too
Monetize our souls
Yours is held for ransom?
Mine has caught Cancer
Overtly looking to increase my sells (sales)
Rarely fitting the stanzas
That I have placed
Aligning my faith
Lies have been placed
Spiritually replacing what I have saved
Overtly in my writing
Undeniably my mind I'm confined in
Love to say, 'I love to Love' but maybe I'm lying
