La Nuit Poem by L. Ahlana Wolf

La Nuit

Darkness, thats all that consumes the room for miles
A stretch of black silence.
Wait for awhile
Boom! Boom! Loud claps of thunder,
flashes of light, the end to our plunder
Rain falls to Earth as the heavens cry.
Dive down a cloud, swim through the sky!
Flash! Flash! Flashes of light, gleaming through windows
Birng me to life!
With every flash and boom and cry, comes yet another reason, to live
not to die.
