Lack Of Knowledge Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Lack Of Knowledge

For the lack of knowledge my people perish,
And one cuts a tree and decorate it;
But my people want it so.
Oh yes, for the writers of old had falsified the truth and,
Many do run for it like the madness of war on this earth.

Do you know Zeus of Olympics?
Today we have Olympic Games and many are yet to learn.
You've got the machinery and I've got the words so,
Without my words you cannot print out thr books;
So, i don't see why why i should pay you money to be published.

Come to Africa and do see things for yourself,
Come and let us also teach you what are not in your books;
For lack of knowledge my people do perish.
Come and learn from us too,
It is like our lives all day long with all the raw materials;
These are your wants so do pay for them,
Like the sugar needed in tea for one to drink.
