In the darkest part of my life,
There HE is, WHO brought me light;
HE’s like a lamp… so bright,
That inspires me every day and night…

In HIM, I found arms, eyes, and heart…
Arms that will hold me at my weakest,
Eyes that will see at my unsightliness,
And heart that will love me at my worst…

Yeah… for me, HE’s a lamp…
That’s how HE matters to me
HE enlightens and inspires me in so many ways,
A source of audacity that brings me pride…

HE taught me that love knows no boundaries…
That with HIM, the sky will be bluer than any ocean;
That the grass will always look greener just across the road,
And that the world with HIM will be the brightest…

Yeah, HE’s the lamp of my life,
That brings me hope, pride, and light…
HE made me so alive,
For HE’s the lamp of my life.
