is my favorite poet
though I can't relate
much
to the black experience,
talk gangsta,
or feel the need to,
shave my white head

and I'll admit,
I much prefer reading
chinaski
or neruda

but Langston Hughes
man, I love that name
Langston Hughes
you know, he can write
