Language Poem by AKELLA S. RATNAM

Language

Language God's gift unites mankind.

Shafts of words pointed & poisoned

Hurt and wound sentiments deep.

Ill-tempered cause irreparable damage.

Coloured lexis rouse humour

Yet powered to soothe and comfort.

Wise & measured speech reforms hearts

They become weapons with mischief-mongers
.
Break human relationships.

Beware of words; be frugal& choosey

Let words refresh souls.
