Last Chance Poem by Brendon Kent

Last Chance

Last Chance

Cast down thine arms
and charms of shame this day,
the time of storm and restless
spirit bears upon us.
Though thou hast seen the power
of the mighty lightning sword
yet still ye battle onwards
as if word and wisdom
hath abandoned thee.
Thy quest of gold has closed all
doors of reason and belief.
Thy fight of seasons end is done
yet thou hast lost a timeless gift
to greed and gained ye worthless
mind that all mankind
may take to Armageddon.
