Last Day of School

It's the last day of school
everyone running for the door
'what do we do? '
they think feet hitting the floor

go straight to the pool
and swim all day
or go play some pool
what would my friends say

last day of school
first what to do
go to a friends house
that sounds nice to do

will we miss the teacher
or will we miss our friends
I guess we'll have to wait and see
what everyone did to the end

we'll see you next year
we love you a lot
we wont shead a tear
on the parking lot.

I speak not, I trace not, I breathe not thy name;
There is grief in the sound, there is guilt in the fame;
But the tear that now burns on my cheek may impart
