Last Summer Poem by Dr Tapan Kumar Pradhan

Last Summer

Rating: 4.4

I looked at her
she looked at me;
nothing happened.

I smiled at her
she smiled back at me;
nothing happened.

I wrote to her
she wrote back to me;
but nothing happened.

I took her hands
and suddenly kissed,
nothing she said -

then it happened.
