Late And Soon Poem by Frank Avon

Late And Soon

Rating: 4.5

I shall sleep tomorrow;
don't wake me before noon,
for I have stilled a storm tonight
and shouldered an enchanted stone.

Let the little house wrens whisper,
nor wake me up at seven,
for the dreams on which I drift tonight
may be the seventh heaven.
