Laughter Poem by faith toney

Laughter

funny how things work out in life
you were there and now your not
I was happy and regretting it
and now im so neutral
I bet you didn’t know that was the end
a day of surprises
a day thought out to be a long live memory
is now craved in stone
unspeakable laughter
u stood there with a smile on your face laughing
like there was nothing to it
but when I walked away
who do you think was laughing then
I had all the control and power
leaving you there with that smile swiped off your face
that one day that one minute that on second
when all was clear
that laughter rang like wedding bells in my ears
my wedding which you did not attend
my misused time was realized
now my laughter towards you echos as a organ in a funeral
it’s the laughter that ruined it all
now who’s laughing now
I walked away and didn’t go back
