Laurel Canyon Poem by Theodora (Theo) Onken

Laurel Canyon

Rating: 5.0

...May your shade be sweet...
'Neath the feathered Willow bough...
...And filled with a sweet serenity...
Where bliss filled love can grow!
...Sheltered from the heated sun...
And the swelter it has been known
To Cause
...The unforgiving sizzle of discomfort...
...Gives us reason
To Pause
...Grasping for the mightly old Willow
Embracing the sweet-cool of its shade
...Love and serenity-they do lead us...
To the Place that Mother Nature has made!

Dedicated to an amazing genius with the bluest eyes ever
