“Hang them, hang them” lady activist shout
It is outcry and rage with outburst
In the day time forceful gang rape over journalist
Who had gone to cover story for check list?

Some four people gang raped and murdered
The outcry was so loud that judicial probe was ordered
The culprits were caught and brought to book
The trial was conducted and everybody looked for justice

The verdict has gone for “to be hanged till death”
It is rarest of rare gruesome act with no faith
The hard core young people were habitual offender
The judge noted that sentence was not extreme but in order

Why have we become so intolerant toward female?
Where is the need to show supremacy of male?
We got to co-exist side by side with respect
The marriage is holy bond to exist

The law may prove deterrence
It may send signal at once
Nobody can take law in hand
If so then he or she ahs to face severe end

Law may take its own course
But have we to perpetuate crime in course?
Why have we gone to old barbarian practice?
The society and world demands promises
