Laying In Bed With The Dead

I lay in bed
With the dead
And dream of the flowers
Set on my grave
Of stone of smooth pave
And gaze at the towers
With crosses and colours
With saints, angels, and others
And notice God's powers
How strong and incredible
How clear and legible
And remember these long hours
With the dead
As I lay in bed.
