Lazy Cats Poem by Juan Olivarez

Lazy Cats

Rating: 3.5

My cats don't chase mice,
Anymore.
My cats loaf around all day,
Waiting,
Waiting,
For their breakfast,
Their lunch,
Their dinner.
Damned lazy cats.
They have no shame,
They have no morals,
They have no qualms.
They scramble around me, scratching,
My pants leg.
Begging for the food I take,
My dogs.
Worthless good for nothing,
Cats.
They need lessons,
In catching mice.
They need to get off,
Their furry butts.

That's just how cats are I guess... Funny though.
