Le Bikini Poem by J.M Berger

We’ve got new bombs
You’ve got new places to hide
But in the end
The score will be tied
You’ve got a new face
I’ve got a new way of seeing things
But we couldn’t find ourselves
In a room filled with mirrors
No rest for the weary?
We’ll put on our bikinis
Lay out on the beach, close our eyes
Letting waves of sorrow crash against our feet
We won’t exercise, I’ll just rhapsodize
We like playing Nintendo and playing pretend
Some things to do waiting for the world to end
