If we were to learn from our mistakes
we could live a better life.
If we were to learn from our elders
we could live a better life.
Why do we not look at the past,
so we can have a better future?
To look in the future is to look in the past.
So we will not make the same mistakes as our ancestors lead.
They had learned the hard way
should we do the same?
Or should we learn what they did,
and make it never happen again?
These are the lessons and wisdoms we should study,
For if we did not have a past,
there would be no future.
