Lease Of Life Poem by me poet yeps poet

Lease Of Life

Rating: 3.4

Last night
I was feeling cold,
nearly dead
they said wake up
yesterday’s dinner is being laid

I asked to be served in bed

No you are not dead yet
wake up get dressed
and the car is on its way
we will go to Molina Rouge
your ribs
we will all eat

It gave me another lease
today I went to yet another free feast
and have added years to life
how many more years will be my strife?
can't wish it
but I will ask for more, ribs of animals and buttered chicken
as you want to make me live
so keep your purse well insured
and also save for charity to give

A touching poem, life is a lease and when it's about to expire, and love love of dear ones renews it, it becomes pleasant once again.

Yeah feasting on other's purse is always delicious but living on once own money pleasures beyond quest. Try it once and see.
