Leave It All Behind

God’s Holy Ghost is everywhere
With life, endless and free
With perfect love He seeks to share
Yet who has eyes to see?

Who has ears the truth to hear?
The facts to understand
Humble enough The Lord to fear
And join to Him as planned

Wander no more with foolish pride
Erring through self debris
Dying whilst Heaven saves outside
Who bow to Christ their knee

Serving with heart and soul devout
Desperate to free from jail
Others yet lost still plagued with doubt
Who void of knowledge fail

Yet who’ll look in their darkened soul?
Who’ll recognise their plight?
Then seek The Lord to make them whole
And put the foe to flight

Who will receive what Christ would give?
Who from the dead will rise?
Through Jesus blood begin to live
And Satan’s ways despise

Refuse to sing the devil’s song
Strutting hell’s shadowed path
Leaving the blind rebellious throng
To face eternal wrath

Yet pray God opens eyes yet blind
That hearing be restored
Request true wisdom others find
To flee the coming sword
