Leave Me Poem by Chris Tasie

Leave Me

Leave me
Sorry I can go further anymore
Leave me that I may go and mourn
For I couldn't but fall these walls once more
This time and no more

Cease your good deeds otherwise I linger
And maybe a moment later
Trigger a much greater shocker
Why not now, it tastes bitter
I know. But seems pretty better

Kiss me goodbye that I may go
For the future that I see
Is as peaceful as a troubled sea
At its command I'd flee and flee
Till I become free

But the promises like fetters
Stretch hands for answer
Your Innocent look like an abandoned toddler
Solicits my conscience like a leper
Do I turn deaf ear to the 'beggar'?

Confused. Out.. in... I swing
And I couldn't but do it
It seems like a loot
It seems that I jilt
It seems for a long time I'll live with the guilt
Yet, it seems I couldn't but quit

Leave me
please leave that Ii may go
