Largess mentality
…..of a wealthy person is pleasant;
If understanding is unified,
…..the family life is more pleasant;
If impossible, considering
…..the transiency, without delay,
Leaving the desire for family and
.....heavenly life is most pleasant!

This poem 'Leave the desire considering the transiency! ' is a translation of a poem from Tamil literature 'iniyavai naaRpathu' meaning 'sweet forty'
உடையான் வழக்கு இனிது; ஒப்ப முடிந்தால்,
மனை வாழ்க்கை முன் இனிது; மாணாதாம் ஆயின்,
நிலையாமை நோக்கி, நெடியார், துறத்தல்
தலையாகத்தான் இனிது நன்கு.2 இனியவை நாற்பது
உடையான் - பொருளுடையான், வழக்கு – ஈகை.
