Leave The Past Behind Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Leave The Past Behind

Rating: 5.0

P-ast midnight the chill fades,
R-ain is nowhere in view;
E-arly Tuesday first March
C-rimson sun shines on
Y-ou.

A-fter the shadows have gone,
R-ise of the beacon has begun;
I-nclement clime comes to an end,
O-ne new dawn brings some fun.
L-onely night has turned into a day of happiness;
A-s another haze has faded into the deepest darkness.

B-ring your cares to the Lord,
A-lmighty God is always there;
R-ealize His love and mercy,
R-unning and flowing like a river.
I-mplore the Father to forgive you,
E-ntreat Him for another chance;
N-ew hope will surely spring
T-o fulfill His good plans.
O-vercome all the troubles, beseech the Maker to ease your mind;
S-oul and heart of you shall leave the past behind.
