The hour is getting late
It's time that I must go
I can't let my feelings
For you start to flow

I know that you are married
You vowed your life to him
For you and I to get involved
Would truly be a sin

I know that you care for me
Just like I care for you
But I know walking away
Is the right thing to do

You are so very beautiful
So much fun to be around
But I know that we should not act upon
These feelings feelings that we've found

So I will just say good-bye
Let's leave things where they are
Had we met some other time
We could have wished upon a star
