Leaving Poem by Silence Dogood

Leaving

I get on a train leaving you behind.
Clinging to your last goodbye.
Ive left you before but ive always come back.
But this time im leaving with my heart intact.

Im not going to cry anymore tears for you.
You broke my heart I knew it wasnt true.
You said you loved me but that was a lie.
I get on a train leaving you behind.

So many sights pass before me.
You use to be my everything.
You were all I needed for so long.
But ive packed my things and now im gone.

I dont need you your smile and laugh.
I need to learn to follow my own path.
I was tied to you all my life.
Never doubting that it was right.

Untill the day you broke my heart.
I believed in ' till death do us part'
But its true cause you killed me inside.
And im finally leaving you behind.

Its not the first time and it wont be the last.
But for now I hope you'll stay in the past.
So i'll grab my things get on the train.
Leaving behind my heart full of pain.
