Left In The Cold Poem by Trinny Trin

Left In The Cold

Rating: 2.3

Raped of my innocence
At the age of eight
Grew up in a world
Where love was deprived.

Had my life stolen
From under my feet
He destroyed my childhood
Then threw me to the street.

Now I'm trying to block
Out the pain
Forget those memories
And walk with love again.

It's hard to keep living
When filled with shame
You lose all direction
And get caught in the game
Too late to realise
The damage you've done
Do you face the nightmare
Or do you run?
