Left In The Cold Poem by Andy Hiscock

Left In The Cold

The time has come,
But that time has now gone,
The bustle of people will always live on,

Take me away to a starry place,
Where people will listen,

I need to speak the things I have given,

I was left in the cold back then,
Yeah, out in the cold back then,

Does that time still haunt me,
Will that time ever come again,

That time's now gone,
But it came,
Will things ever be the same,

We hope and we pray each day,

Take us away to a starry place,
Where all people listen,

I loved those who were living,

But we were left in the cold back then,
Yeah, right out in the cold back then,

Please tell me,
That time will never come again.
