Lento: Sluiced Across The Land Poem by Caryl Ramsdale

Lento: Sluiced Across The Land

Mizzling misty-like arctic droplets sprinkle
Frizzling twists of moist, wiry, auburn locks that stray
Drizzling gentle raindrops fade without haste
Fizzling out feebly near the lane to our cozy chalet.

Wet thunderstorms breed between land and sea
Set heavy rainfall driven by strong winds down on me
Let the monsoon season sweep the desert clean
Yet still I fear fierce wind that can bend our bulky tree.
