Leprechauns Poem by Sam Edison

Leprechauns

Rating: 4.9

I keep battling Leprechauns on the hour every hour
As my eyes are set on Jesus, Leprechauns come to over power
They keep offering good whiskey and a good stout for me to devour
I think they realize my hearts like a flower
Beautiful and delicate full of love but yet sour
So I say the Our Father hoping they would go away
But they keep coming back like the light of another day
They control my mind with there evil hypnotizing words they do say
Theres no day like today to drink your troubles away
Party until the next morning miss church theres no need to pray
Breath stinking like Jameson Im peniless alone and feeling grey
All because these dam leprechauns just wont go away
