Let Be Poem by Jared Bradford

Let Be

Let's Pretend-
Oh, wait, did I mention?
That everything about you gives me apprehension
No?
Well then
Give me your undivided attention
Everything I'm gunna say will have tension dispensin'
I don't know anymore what side of war I'm representin'
Either way I'm at the bottom and need redemption
The bars down too, guess I gotta raise it then
I don't know what gottan me to this point in my life
I have my ideas
So I put down our picture
Cause I don't wanna see us
Everything that's happend in the past year and a half
Made me wish everyday that, I could go back
Maybe it was longer ago, I don't really know I was never too good at math
I'm happy that I can at least laugh at that
But a unfortunate fact is that I can't go back
And moving forward supplies no map
But i'll set out regardless
No matter how hard this
Might be, I gotta do it for me
Cause yesterdays history, tomorrow is a mystery
And everything in between, I just let be
