Let Deepavali Bring Us Welfare And Goodness!
As if we cleanse the dirt from our body,
Like the Sun with purity wipes out the worldly
Darkness which helps the evil activities to happen,
Let the life come that brings us welfare and goodness,
Leaving behind the fear of poverty on this earth
that leads to asking for alms!

தீய இருளைத் துடைக்கும், அத் -தூய
இரவிபோல் மண்மேல் இரவச்சம் நீங்க
வருகவே நன்மைசேர் வாழ்வு! - காளியப்பன் எசேக்கியல்
