Let Fall Those Tears, Love Poem by Alyson Gutierrez

Let Fall Those Tears, Love

When I look into your eyes
You catch me deeply by surprise
With what I see inside
Try as you may to hide
Your pain and loss, there, behind
The smile that, in your mind,
Tells the world that you are fine
But of so many, only mine
Are the eyes that truly find
The tears you never let unwind

So love of mine, let them fall
Those tears you hide from one and all
But in the end, please do recall
To always stand strong and tall
And I will love you all the more
Today, tomorrow, and forevermore
For all you are and ever were
And through whatever may occur
Angry words or fallen tears
Just know that I will always be right here.
