Let God Be The Judge Poem by Adesegun Adejugbe

Let God Be The Judge

Life is not a segue terrain my dears

People may hate or love you sometimes
People may dislike or like you sometimes

Whatever you do
Either good or bad
People must have something to say either good or bad

So kindly do your best
And leave the rest

Ergo,

If you love without reservation and care without limitation:
People may accuse you of being a flirt.

If you have deposition
To do good always
And to place others
Above yourself:
People may accuse you of being weak and naive.

If you are cheerful, sociable
And fraternize with others:
People may accuse you of being pervert
And disrespect you.

If you keep to yourself
And love solitude:
People may accuse you of being a sociopath and a recluse.

If you are humble, calm
And quiet people may underestimate you.

Keep at it all
Never despair
Keep loving
Let God be the judge.

If you did something wrong: people may start to dislike you
And forget all the things you did right.

If you are bright and ambitious: people may accuse you of being desperate and self centered.

If you have self confidence and speak with so much courage:
People may accuse you of being arrogant and proud.

If you have been good to people still in your darkest moment:
People may be inhumane and be insensitive to you.

If you love to serve others and be at the helm of affairs of getting things done for them:
People may accuse you of being self seeking and loving power

Keep at it all
Never despair
Keep loving
Let God be the judge.

If you are rich, influential and powerful:
People may accuse you of being domineering and trying to be demigod.

If you are hardworking
but still poor:
People may despise your wisdom
And accuse you of being lazy and having no future ambition.

If you are firm and a man of principle:
people may accuse you of being insensitive and cruel.

If you love God
And you are devoted
to your religion:
People may accuse you of being a religion bigot

If you love everyone without discrimination
there will still be people who will dislike or hate you.

Keep at it all
Never despair
Keep loving
Let God be the judge.

If you are truly good, remain good care much about others but care less
about bad the things they say about you.

Leave everything to God
It is He who rewards all
It is He who judges all

Let God be the judge always.
