Poet's Notes about The Poem

I was almost at this point until recently and I was remembering what it felt like. This is to remind everyone who is going through a hard time right now that someone cares. It was intended to be a song, that is why one part is repeated 3 times, by the way.

    There is a lot of pain in this poem/song but healing and hope through out.

    Ok we got rookie here. I just signed up and wanted to say how real this poem was for me because its me the boy in the poem with the red wrists. everyday is a fucking battle to do everything. suicide is constantly on my damn mind. Great stuff im excited about this website. Oh and Elizabeth dont worry about putting a label on it. IT is what it is. So thank you and i Leave you with words from the Great Bob Dylan. If i can sing it? then its a song, If i cant sing it? then its Poetry. simple as that.

    P.S. IM ok im not gonna off myself tonight i will let you know before i hit the hard road.
