Let Love Out Poem by Dean Gowler

Let Love Out

If there can be only one thought
let loves shadows in, to cast its blanket over you
glory in the honor of yourself
for there can be no other
inward looking at the heart lets flow outwardly
it flows like a silent stream in the summer sun
rabble rouse the intact conscience
blazing fire in the soul cannot be denied
sullen occupier taken too the sword
heart grows up and pulses like a neon sign
there is no joy in a heart full of hollow
no soul deserves to be trapped by dead flies
love as no envy or jealousy
make the heart a magnet
shake it to the core
let loves ivy
encase the ones you adore.
