I dream of you almost every night
and when you're here my days are bright
I wish that you would hold me tight
and that you're always on my side

I really feel so dumb right now
while I'm writing this poem down
'coz I know I'll just be a clown
but I hope you'll understand

there are things in you that's plain annoying
but still, I end up falling
I wish I know what you're feeling
'coz thinking 'bout it is depressing

I hope you'll stop contradicting me
'coz it really is killing me
you can't change me, I am me
so why don't you just let me be
