Let Me Go Poem by Lora Colon

Let Me Go

Rating: 5.0

What is this hold you have on me,
Did you cast a spell with your charms?
I freeze when I try to run from you,
And I melt at the thought of your arms

What sort of witchcraft did you use,
To make my heart rebel,
It won't listen to me anymore,
It's totally under your spell

Tell me what you've done to me,
Why do I feel this way?
I find myself longing to know your thoughts,
What loving words you might say

I cannot let you keep control,
This could only lead to sorrow;
Free my heart before it's too late,
But not today..... maybe.... tomorrow

I love the last line. .....it is soooooo…………”Lora”. or is it humor? soooooooooooo unlike Lora! Your heart is hereby freed at last. The spell I threw at you is now UN-cast. You may now resume stewing about your past, and sulk and cry ….while I go out and have a blast! ! bri :) I hope it was humor, but I doubt it.
