Let Me In Poem by Tork Souad Diana

Let Me In

Rating: 5.0

I walk along the highway
Never mind, I'm going my way
And I'm too scared of going home
Just too afraid of being alone.

If only I 'd have known
I wouldn't have thrown
All this love I have for you
Just for you and only you.

Is everything now too late?
How much longer I have to wait
For your eyes to turn around
And see me broken down?

With no reason to smile
Not one in this whole mile
Bitterness and emptiness
Oh, why have I been so careless?

And let you slip out of my life
It's like I've been stabbed by a knife
And I bleed out more and more
Till you'll finally open up that door

And let me in and don't let go
Just like it used to be before...
